KSSCR 2023 Annual Meeting
2023 Annual Meeting of Korean Society for Stem Cell Research

Welcome Message

Welcome Message from the KSSCR President

Dear Colleagues and Sponsors,

It is our great pleasure to cordially invite you to the 2023 annual meeting of Korean Society for Stem Cell Research (KSSCR), to be held at BEXCO in Busan on August 16-18, 2023. This is the first international conference to be held in a fully offline format after the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2023 KSSCR annual meeting hopes to be one of the most successful meetings in the history of KSSCR. There will be three plenary lectures by Professor Magdalena Zernicka-Goetz (University of Cambridge, California Institute of Technology), Hans R. Schöler (Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine in Münster), and Gou Young Koh (Institute for Basic Science) who recently achieved excellent results. Dozens of excellent international and domestic speakers have also been invited from academia, hospitals and industry. Outstanding young scientists and investigators have been selected by the academic program committee this year, who will have the opportunity to present their works in the annual meeting. With this excellent list of speakers, I have no doubt that the 2023 KSSCR annual meeting will be one of the most fruitful and successful, covering all aspects of stem cell research and applications, with cutting edge and latest scientific results.

On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the various sponsorships of dozens of domestic and foreign companies and government-funded organizations such as NRF, KHIDI, KFRM, RMAF, NIH, and MFDS. We sincerely hope that this annual meeting will provide all participants with a great opportunity to gain new knowledge and promote networking and collaboration.

We hope for a bright future for all of you, and look forward to seeing you in Busan soon. Thank you for your support and participation!

With very best wishes,

Jae-Ho Kim, Ph.D.
President, KSSCR
